The woman is Ms. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, who has worked within the non-profit field for over 13 year's experience. She has experience working with many different populations which includes LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of intimate partner violence. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Presently, she offers access to Behavioral Health Services via telehealth. Mrs. Rivas has worked with pregnant and postpartum moms for more than a decade. She is an expert in the field of trauma-informed therapy and provides EMDR for adults. Additionally, she provides individual and group counseling, medication assisted treatment and referrals for specialist care and Women's Support groups. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent homes for animals in need through her role as volunteer with the Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She is committed to with the Best Friends motto, Save Them All, and would like to make Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city.
